What Media Bias???

740 AM KCBS, here in the San Francisco area, had these 'important' news stories this morning...

Teaser: Tree protesters in Berkley, Protests in S.F. against recent violence, O.J Simpson trial

When they got to the news stories, they went in this order:

  • O.J. Simpson trial getting underway (nothing really going on yet)
  • Hurricane Ike
  • Then if I remember correctly, Ike, Dow Jones up, ....

Think about that - on a news day with the Federal Government taking over Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, no mention of it. Don't know why.

On a day when McCain has now surpassed Obama in many polls, no mention of it. In some polls, McCain came back from an 11-point deficit. This story didn't even make the first 5 news stories of the radio broadcast. For what reason would an editor leave that out of the top 5 stories at the top of the hour?

No bias there.

More on McCain passing Obama in the polls can be found here.

And more on media bias can always be found at The Pantheon Journal.
