Why do we live with these people? Why do we allow our lawmakers and legal system to keep churning out repeat sex offenders?

Fortunately, he was busted for this - threatening people itself is a crime.
If you want yourself and your children to continue to be exposed to these kinds of gems, then by all means keep putting politicians in office who are soft on crime. Your choice. Your life. Your society.
